Mach D Pivots to Crypto Education and Opens Waitlist for Strategy Testing Sandbox

Mach D is evolving. We’re moving from an AI trading assistant to a learning-first platform—focused on helping people understand, test, and grow in the world of crypto trading. With our desktop transition underway and early pilot testing already in motion, we’re building toward something more meaningful.

Why the Pivot?

When Mach D first launched, the goal was simple: make crypto trading accessible to beginners. We started by building an AI assistant that could help users interact with the market without needing much background knowledge.

But as more users came onboard, a deeper need became clear. People didn’t just want automated trades—they wanted to understand the reasoning behind them. They wanted to learn, test, and build confidence before ever placing a real trade.

So, we made the decision to pivot. We’re no longer just offering an assistant—we’re building a platform that teaches.

What We’re Building

Mach D is becoming an educational sandbox for crypto trading. Our focus is on combining structured learning with safe, hands-on experimentation:

  • Personalised learning pathways – Inspired by platforms like Duolingo and DataCamp, our system will offer modular, adaptive learning tracks that match users’ experience levels and interests.

  • A real-time strategy testing sandbox – Users will be able to simulate trades using live market data in a risk-free environment, helping them explore strategies before committing real capital.

  • An agentic AI tutor – Still in development, this tutor will actively guide users through their learning journey—offering timely feedback, helping interpret trade outcomes, and connecting decisions to core concepts.

Together, these features form a more transparent, educational path into crypto markets—designed for both new and emerging traders.

Early Testing in Progress

Over the last three months, Mach D has been running a closed pilot with University of Bristol MSc FinTech students. As part of their dissertation projects, students have been testing our sandbox and exploring topics in algorithmic trading and portfolio management using early-stage components of the platform.

The feedback and insights from this academic collaboration are directly shaping how we refine the user experience—especially around usability, clarity, and educational value.

What’s Next

We’re still a few months away from completing the full platform, but the next stage is opening up:

We’re launching a waitlist for public pilot testers, starting with access to our crypto sandbox.

This will give early users the chance to test strategies, explore the market in a safe setting, and help shape Mach D’s final release.

Building Confidence, Not Hype

Mach D’s new direction is grounded in clarity and learning—not shortcuts or speculation. We’re building something that helps users develop real skills through guided experimentation and structured support.

There’s more to come. But we’re excited about the direction we’re heading—and even more excited to build it with our users and academic partners.
