To democratise access to the cryptocurrency market, providing both novice and experienced traders with tailored, data-driven trading strategies that optimise profitability.

Our team

We are a dynamic team of five driven individuals who collaborated on this project during 2022 at the University of the West of England (UWE). Our diverse backgrounds and expertise spanned a wide range of disciplines, from computer science and finance to data analytics and user experience design.

This blend of skills allowed us to tackle the challenges of cutting-edge cryptocurrency market and automated trading, ensuring the software has the highest functionality, usability and performance. Together we leveraged our collective knowledge to bring this innovative solution to life, with the shared goal of revolutionising the ability for everyone to be able to compete in the market with the same level of complex tools.

Gerald Lee, UWE MSc Financial Technology grad and former EY Senior Consultant, excels in digital strategy and innovation. As Co-Founder and Product Manager at Mach D Trading Ltd, he leads product strategy and execution, driving growth and adaptability in the fast-paced FinTech sector.

Jerry Chin, with a finance background, has bolstered WHA Group’s market position through market research and investment valuation. His expertise, honed at PPT Public Company Limited, and as an MSc FinTech candidate at UWE, positions him at the forefront of fintech evolution.

Aaron Barker, a FinTech postgraduate from UWE, Bristol, brings software development and user-focused design expertise from Integral GmbH and Dymatrix Solutions. Specialising in Java, Python, and Solidity, his blockchain projects like peer-to-peer betting and stock market security tokens highlight his pivotal role in the team.
